What is our Property Protection Plan?

No one wants to think about damage to their investment property. The reality though is that as a landlord, you’re opening yourself up to some risk of property damage. Not only can these events be stressful, they can be costly and eat into your cash flow.

To mitigate some of these concerns, we've created the Nomad Property Protection Plan. We provide you with $500K in coverage from most types of accidental, resident-caused damages during the length of your lease term. Most importantly, our plan protects you from instances commonly outside of traditional home insurance.

$500K Real Property Coverage

Your residence and premises (things like your walls, roof, floor, fixtures, and fittings) are protected against accidental damage caused by your resident. Example: a resident spills a large amount of water leading to warped wooden floors.

$500K Liability Coverage

Protection if you become legally liable to a third party resulting from an accident at your property. Example: your resident slips on the stairs as a result of a faulty railing.

$100K Personal Property Coverage

Items in your residence that you own (like furniture, electronics and appliances) are protected against accidental damage caused by your resident if they have been assumed under contract of the lease. Example: a resident unknowingly overloads a washing machine leading to a breakdown.
